About the Role
This is a specialist role for AI data projects: you design the AI data projects needed to train and evaluate the AI models our clients request, and own the whole project from workforce operations, quality control, and schedule management to final delivery.
Responsibilities
Own AI data build projects
Manage scope, schedule, quality, and delivery end to end for the data projects clients request for AI training and evaluation: data collection and processing, expert evaluation, dataset construction, and AI model evaluation.
Analyze client requirements and design project operations
Analyze the client's data requirements to define the workflow, work guidelines, quality criteria, required workforce, and volume, and build a concrete execution plan.
Run the global expert workforce
Define workforce requirements by country, language, and domain, and work with related teams on recruiting, onboarding, training, task assignment, and performance management.
Manage data quality and operational KPIs
Manage key metrics such as quality/acceptance rate, throughput, TAT, capacity, and cost, and keep improving quality and operational performance based on data.
Improve data build processes and the operating model
Analyze recurring problems and inefficiencies in project operations and improve guidelines, quality control, and processes to build an operating model that runs large-scale AI data projects reliably.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor's degree or higher (any major; business, economics, industrial engineering, computer science, statistics, or information systems preferred)
- Experience: 3+ years in AI data project management, operations, consulting, or a related field
- (Required) English communication skills sufficient to work with global clients
- Basic understanding of LLMs, generative AI, and how AI models are trained and evaluated
- Ability to understand enterprise client requirements and turn them into concrete requirements the internal project team can execute
Preferred
- Experience on projects related to LLMs, generative AI, or AI model training and evaluation
- Understanding of or experience with LLM training and evaluation data such as SFT, RLHF, preference data, human feedback, and model evaluation
- Experience analyzing and resolving client issues or project problems based on data and KPIs
